Kathryn N. Byler Appointed to Virginia Beach Planning Commission
Virginia Beach, Va. – Pender & Coward attorney Kathryn Byler has been appointed by the Virginia Beach City Council to serve as the first Planning Commissioner from District 4. Council member Dr. Amelia Ross-Hammond represents the newly created district that includes Town Center. During her four-year term on the Planning Commission, Kathryn will vote on applications that come before the Commission and will work with city staff to develop a new comprehensive plan.
Kathryn focuses her practice on real estate, business, and estate planning matters. She is a licensed Virginia real estate broker and commercial property owner. Byler serves on the Design Review Committee for the Virginia Beach Central Business District Association and as an adjunct professor at Regent University School of Law.
